Pardon Me While I Unpack
Setting Up Shop Over Here in the 'Hiiv
It’s about time for my evening bedtime routine, but I wanted to take a moment to welcome y’all to the new home of Not Sticking to Sports and to thank all y’all for sticking with me!
If you saw my final post over on the ‘stack, you know why I had to make this move, and with soccer leagues in the U.S. about to open training camps in a few weeks, there was no time like the present.
While the North Carolina Courage has been busy over the winter, I’ve been occupied with researching antihistamine diets (and getting depressed when I realized that every healthy thing I love is either full of histamine or releases histamine in my body*), trying to find more ways to move my body throughout the day, and trying to make my apartment feel more homey (it’s been over three years; maybe it’s about time).
I’ll be back online soon with a rundown of North Carolina’s off-season moves (so far) and possibly another rant about how awful expansion drafts are.
In the meantime, here’s a must-watch video reminding us that Coco Chanel wasn’t just a shady “influencer” who took credit for other people’s creations, but she was also a Nazi sympathizer. And y’all know how I feel about Nazis…
*Drinking water helps by flushing the histamine out of the body. So as long as I balance out the histamine-provoking foods I love with antihistamine food and drink plenty of water, I’m okay. Better than okay, really. I’ve gone from having to take a fexofenadine (Allegra) every single day to taking a pill every 1-2 weeks.
